Punta Gorda's elementary education is served by the Sallie Jones Elementary School which was established in 1956 and has an enrollment level of about 700 students. Punta Gorda also has it's own Middle School. Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda is undergoing many changes including a new 2 story building.
Edison Community Collage has several campuses located in Punta Gorda, Naples, Fort Myers and LaBelle.
